Removing Oil-based Makeup: The household trick for removing oil-based make-up is to use a "pre-wash stain remover" and spray it directly onto the stain. Do not rub the stain! Let the solution soak into the carpet, as most chemicals take some time (Lipstick and Mascara will need more time).
